Your data stays on your device. It never leaves. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your information. That's it.
Ringfence does not collect any personal information. Your transactions, budgets, categories, and all financial data are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage. There are no servers, no cloud databases, no accounts.
We do not use any analytics services, tracking pixels, or third-party SDKs that collect data. We have no idea how you use the app, and we prefer it that way.
Ringfence does not make network requests to external servers. Your financial data never leaves your device. There is no backend, no API, no cloud sync.
Everything happens on your device:
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, authentication is handled entirely by Apple's on-device biometric system. Ringfence never has access to your biometric data.
If you choose to scan a receipt, Ringfence requests access to your camera or photo library. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded or transmitted anywhere.
If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification servers are involved.
If this policy ever changes, it will be updated on this page. But honestly, the core principle will always be the same: your data is yours, it stays on your device, and we don't want it.
